A Nightmare on Elm St 2: Freddy’s Revenge, 1985/ 1 hr 37 min.

 

The Walsh Family moves into the old Thompson House, 5 years after Freddy’s supposed defeat and the son, Jesse, immediately begins having nightmares.

 

 

The first, he’s being stalked by Freddy in a school bus. Later, Freddy asks Jesse to kill for him. He and his friend/crush, Lisa, find Nancy Thompson old diary, talking about her nightmares, which are similar to Jesse’s.

 

After a while, weird things begin happening, random fires around the house, family pets spontaneously combusting and Jesse’s family blaming it all on him. He begins trying different measures to stay awake.

 

 

Then people start dying. A guy is whipping to death in the school showers. Jesse is later found naked wandering the streets wearing Freddy’s glove.

 

 

He’s desperate for help, he’s changing and Freddy’s using him to kill. And there seems to be no way to stop him.

 

 

I love this franchise! Nostalgic, eerie, frustrating and scary. Some gore and that patented Freddy comedy. Plus on the DC listen to the cast laugh about the homo erotic gym shower scene.
