Macabre...ish Horror Review: Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark
Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, 2010/ 1 hr 40 min.
An architect, with the help of his girlfriend and interior designer, is hoping to revive his career by restoring the old Blackwood Manor and landing the cover of Architectural Digest.
They’re staying on during the restoration with his daughter, Sally. But something horrible has and is happening in this house. And it’s light sensitive and feeds on little kids. For their teeth, they pay in silver.
The original owner’s, Blackwood, own son went missing a few days before he did. But in the interim, it’s assumed that he went in insane, removing his own teeth with pliers. Then attack his maid and removing hers with a hammer and chisel.
Now, everyone is in danger and have to get the hell out of that house before it’s too late.
I really enjoyed this one, it’s a good creep fest with a good cast. More ghost story scare than blood and guts, though there is some of that. Well done!
I have no idea if it is stream free anywhere but it’s always available here, on itunes. Enjoy!!
