Macabre...ish Horror Review: Friday the 13th Part 3

Friday the 13th Part 3, 1982/ 95 min.

This is the direct continuation of the second when Jason still had the bag over his head and begins with him breaking into his own shack with the shrine to his mother,  in pursuit of a camper. She tries to confuse him by masquerading as his mother.

Fast forward to the discovery of the Camp Crystal Lake Massacre on the news and a woman screaming at her husband over laundry. Then Harold at the old country store eating fish food. It’s clear Jason is on the hunt again.

Meanwhile, a group of teens is heading back to one of their member’s home on Crystal Lake. In a confrontation with bikers, at a store after knocking over their motorcycles. The bikers find the house the teens are staying at and intend to burn down the barn, except Jason finds them there first.

From then on Jason hunts the kids and bikers and kills them all in unique ways with a myriad of different weapons.

And for the first time I went with the 3d option and it went better than expected. It was a nice change for a movie I’ve already seen too many times.
