Macabre...ish Horror Review: Road Kill

This is not the Irish prehistoric beast, Road Kill but the Australian road train, Road Kill, 2008/ 87 min. Four friends on a camping trip are run off the road by a massive semi truck. After walking to find help because their vehicle was damaged, they encounter the same truck, parked. Disappointed the driving isn’t around to endure their ire, they decide to help themselves to a ride in the empty truck after hearing gunshots.

Now that they’ve commandeered the vehicle, they’ve have a look in the trailers and quickly regret the decision. Oh and the truck is in serious need of fuel but not normal fuel. This truck runs on a gruesome alternative. 

As the story goes on we begin to understand the truth of the original driver and the horrific conundrum the friends find themselves in and the longer they’re in the truck the more they change, It’s a deadly cycle. Does anyone survive it? Plenty of twists with this movie!

Adult content, partial nudity, graphic, bloody, gory, good effects and good concept. I was surprised by how good the story turned out to be.
