Macabre...ish Horror Review: Ugly Sweater Party

Ugly Sweater Party, 2018/ 1 hr 21 min.

A man (Sean Whalen), after having slaughtered a family, is tied to a chair, with a bag over his head. After a cop has his way with him, some weird stuff happens with his sweater when it’s over.

A decade later, two friends get an invite to an ugly sweater party but neglect to realize they need ugly sweaters. And while fighting about it on the side of the road, they notice a vagrant with one and they take it from him. And immediately the wearer starts acting different and having disturbing hallucinations.

They eventually arrive at the house for the party and it doesn’t look like much. And as a matter of fact, it’s something else all together. Meanwhile, some kind of spirit is lurking around. And the carnage begins with a man getting his private parts ripped off and his blood drank.

This flick is gonna be for fans of schlock, specifically low budget, indie 80s inspired gorefests! This is disgusting, gory, graphic and very sexually explicit film with a strong spoof vibe. Aside from Sean Whalen (Roach from People Under the Stairs), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) is also in this one.
