Macabre…ish Review: Hacked

Hacked: A Double Entendre of Rage Fueled Karma, 2025/ 1 hr 34
You ever have your life ruined by a hack. I mean, your sensitive banking information was stolen and you were totally wiped out. The future you were working toward, was now over. I hope not.
Because it happened to these people, Emily Zercher and Shane Brady, and they did the arguably coolest thing with that experience. They made a movie about it. It’s not like a documentary but a story about what they wish they could’ve done to the guy who stole from them.
Hunt him down and make him pay. Not with money, oh no, it’s WAY too late for that (No but seriously, give them their money back! Wtf!). The family’s gonna need a few pounds of flesh and his public humiliation for all their trouble. After all, they were already struggling through the pandemic and robbed of the chance to buy a family home.
In this movie, a notorious hacker didn’t just rob the adults but the kids. Their entire digital lives, stolen and online school work, deleted. This hacker, known as Rob ‘The Chameleon’ Huberton (Chandler Riggs), is very good at what he does.

Unfortunately, his fragile ego set off a terrible chain reaction. Because since the bank and law enforcement can’t help, the family, is on their own. Well, they aren’t totally alone, they do have Santa and a war hammer…But either way, they have nothing else to lose.

And the kids, Ralph (Owen Atlas) and Freddy (Collin Thompson), spend an inordinate amount of time watching murder documentaries and they have some ideas. All they have to do is find The Chameleon and they do. Messing with this family is only gonna cost him everything.
This was written and directed by Shane Brady. If you like movies like Psycho Goreman and Wake Up, you might enjoy this. The characters are over the top, the story is a fast moving, chaotic revenge comedy and it’s quite a ride. Big plus is you have a wacky, dark sense of humor.
It is crazy but remember, The Chameleon, had this coming. It’s out now! Go watch it!!
